2011-P 5 oz Silver ATB Chickasaw With Box & COA This particular coin honors the untouched and natural Chickasaw National Recreation Area in Oklahoma. The reverse of the coin shows the Lincoln Bridge. The Lincoln Bridge celebrates the centennial of Abraham Lincoln's birth and was built by the Civilian Conservation Corps. Named to honor the Chickasaw Indian Nation, this beautiful park includes almost 10,000 acres, of which, 2409 are covered in water. The Chickasaw National Recreation Area formed from an existing protected area, Platt National Park, and the Arbuckle Recreation Area. The design was completed by United States Mint Artistic Infusion Program (AIP) Master Designer Joel Iskowitz. The Coin was sculpted by United States Mint Sculptor-Engraver Phebe Hemphill. Included as well are the inscriptions of CHICKASAW, OKLAHOMA, 2011 and E PLURIBUS UNUM. Also shown are the inscriptions of UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST and QUARTER DOLLAR.
